Past meetings

open house, may 11, 2017

The project team presented the final draft of the plan to city staff, elected officials, business owners, residents and other stakeholders on May 11. The meeting was well-attended, and after an hour-long presentation, the public had the opportunity to ask questions and comment on the plan. Poster board displays that summarized different parts of the plan were on-site, and a general open house followed the presentation.

The project team presented a draft of the Brandt Pike Target Revitalization Plan to the project Steering Committee, city staff, and members of the public. The plan is currently being finalized with input from those parties, and will be open to public comment in the coming months.

community workshop, November 15-17, 2016

Thanks to everyone who came out to the workshop to share your ideas for Brandt Pike's future! After a three day frenzy of mapping, sketching, meetings, walk audits, and lots of coffee and cookies, the workshop culminated in a final presentation on Thursday, November 17. The presentation showed renderings and plans for possible redevelopment opportunities along the Pike, including the new library, a senior living campus attached to the Premiere Health facility, mixed-use retail residential, and roadway improvements on Brandt Pike and new internal roads in the proposed developments. A special thanks to our workshop partners:
